Position Overview:

We are seeking an entrepreneurial and intellectually curious MBA student for our 2026 summer internship, preceded by an in-semester part-time internship. This team member will work alongside our senior-level investment team and be a core part of Screendoor’s operational activities. The opportunity is designed to provide an inside view and hands-on experience in a limited partner seat in the venture capital industry and what it takes to build a firm. The Screendoor MBA Intern will play an important role in operations and firm building, data management, and special strategic projects. This team member will also have the opportunity to participate in top-of-funnel reviews and investment diligence.

Responsibilities, Qualifications, and Our Commitment

Key Responsibilities:

1. AI and Technical Operations: Dive deep into internal processes and reimagine the best ways to conduct diligence, identify investment opportunities, automate processes, manage limited partner relationships and fundraising, and activate internal data using AI. Be an internal builder, researching impactful solutions and developing internal applications of LLMs, agents, and other technology.
2. Portfolio Data Management: Maintain our investment data across sourcing, diligence, and portfolio across platforms such as Affinity, Airtable, Notion, and others.
